Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics. Alateen, a part of Al-Anon, provides support for younger relatives and friends of alcoholics. The Al-Anon Service Center serves individuals and Al-Anon/Alateen groups in metropolitan Denver, providing literature for and information about meetings throughout the metro area. Community Programs for Clinical Research on AIDS

The Community Programs for Clinical Research on AIDS (CPCRA) is a community-based clinical AIDS research program based at Denver Public Health. The program allows patients to participate in research studies while continuing to receive care by their primary care provider. After the initial referral is made by the primary care provider, a CPCRA clinician works collaboratively with the primary care provider, as well as other specialists including dermatology, gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, pulmonary, and psychiatry. To be eligible to take part in the program, participants must be under the care of an affiliated physician or clinic involved with CPCRA. Studies examine long-term strategies to best utilize therapies that fight the AIDS virus. All fees associated with research studies are covered by the research program. There is transportation, case management, and childcare assistance available for participants.       HOME

DAND-S is a social naturist club in an urban setting since 1990. We have access to various clothing optional areas in the mountains, but our main meeting place is a large health club where we have monthly nude swimming parties. We have potlucks at members? houses and an annual Pridefest booth, as well as other meeting opportunities, like bowling and square dancing. We also send delegates to the gatherings in Kansas, Pennsylvania, and California. We have around 80 members, and we see almost half of that number at our meetings.       HOME

Denver Victims Service Center is a nonprofit agency that provides services to victims of crime and crime prevention education. DVSC serves all victims of crime regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, ability level or national origin. Our services include a 24-hour crisis hotline in English, Spanish, and by Teletypewriter (TTY) for the hearing or speech impaired. Emergency financial assistance, crisis counseling, case management, information, referrals, advocacy and support groups are also available.
